We're heading to the patio at 18th Street Brewery for food and drink before heading back to Chicago. (FYI, 3Floyds Brewpub is closed for year.)

We'll meet at the Clock Tower and leave promptly at 7:45AM. We will have a brief stop at Queen's Landing (across from Buckingham Fountain) ~8:20AM if that works better.

It's about 69 miles round trip if you ride both ways. (but there's beer and food in the middle!) 15-18 mph expected pace. If desired, you can shorten the trip there by ~9 mi. (see ** on cue sheet).  And the South Shore Line in Hammond (~1 mile from 18th Street) would really shorten your miles if you didn't want to ride home after brewery.

We want to get there when they open at 11AM. Patio reservations for tables of 4 no longer required as they switched to first come, first served.

All riders should download and print a cue sheet.  (does not include detour)
And it helps to study the route and add it to your smartphone/GPS device.
Note: route updated 7/7 for the LFT construction detour and to avoid afternoon trail congestion on north side.

Corona-virus precautions: Bring a mask but it is optional while riding. We expect riders to maintain appropriate social distancing at all times. This means at least 3+ bike lengths while moving and 6 ft. when stopped. A mask is required anytime social distancing cannot be maintained. Please refrain from riding with us if you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or if you have traveled recently to a higher-risk area.

Ride will be cancelled/postponed if high chance of rain.
As usual, helmets required.  Bring an ID, lock, spare tube/tire change kit, snacks, and money for food, drink.
