Weekly ride of the WCCC club, we will gather at Foster Beach. We will split into two groups: Group 1: 16-18 MPH and 40-50 miles. Usually, this route will go north to Highland Park, later in the year to Fort Sheridan and late in the season, additional distance may be added such as the McCrory Bike path north of Fort Sheridan. This is the standard route north, reverse to come home: WCCC Fort Sheridan Route but routes may vary to provide some variety depending on the ride leader (details to be posted beforehand).
Group 2: 14-16 MPH and 25-40 miles. This route will likely go north as well but with a turn-round location south of Highland Park. If you decide to try Group 1 but it's too much for your Sunday morning, you can rendezvous with the shorter route. A group breakfast location and time will be organized before leaving so we can come back together as a club and share stories.
