Dekalb Cornfest Century from Naperville's 5th Avenue Metra Station to Dekalb and back. Note that there is NO SAG for this ride. This is a NO DROP Ride. 

Ride 100 miles with 2500 ft of elevation through the bean and corn fields and small towns of Northern Illinois while riding across the Fox River and Fox River Valley. We will be lunching at Dekalb's Cornfest (www.cornfest.com) with free fresh boiled & buttered corn on the cob from 11 AM to 2 PM. Be sure to bring a bike lock to secure your bike at this large festival. The ride returns to Naperville and finishes on the large outdoor patio of Jimmy's Grill (www.jimmysgrillnaperville.com) for some adult beverages before everyone departs by Metra Rail or automobile (both Metra station and parking lot are only a few blocks away).

8 AM approximate departure for cyclists from Naperville 5th Ave Metra Station (22 E 5th Ave Naperville IL 60563).

Via Metra BNSF: Depart Chicago Union Station at 6:30 AM and arrive at Naperville 5th Ave Station at 7:26 AM. We will meet and depart from the north side of the BNSF Metra rail traks. If taking Metra - you are REQUIRED to have a bungee cord to secure your bike on the train. More info about bikes on Metra trains.  After the ride, if returning to Chicago via Metra BNSF, trains depart the Naperville 5th Ave Station at 2:33PM, 3:35PM, 4:33PM, 6:33PM, 8:33PM, & 11:33PM.

Via automobile: Arrive at 07:26AM and be ready to roll-out at approximately 08:00AM. There is $2 all-day vehicle parking at the Naperville 5th Ave Metra Station, north of the tracks, at 22 E 5th Ave Naperville IL 60563. Parking may be paid for via exact change at a vending machine or pay-by-phone.
